As part of Brussels Pride Week, this event offers a screening of the documentary LESVIA, a film that explores the history of the lesbian community in Eressos, a small village on the island of Lesbos, Greece, where lesbians from around the world have gathered since the late 1970s. The documentary highlights four decades of visibility, struggles, and solidarity among these women. Through powerful interviews and archival footage, LESVIA offers an intimate look into the lives of those who made Eressos a symbol of freedom and refuge for lesbians.
