Nobody's Son - Brussels Pride Week 2025

An exhibition by Fritz Alblas.

This exhibition presents a series of pop art and street art paintings made from drawings accumulated over the last three years - from the artist's first testosterone injection to the present day. The works trace Fritz's personal and emotional journey, exploring in depth his transition process and the acceptance (and non-acceptance) within his family.

The figures depicted are at once abstract, direct and spontaneous, rooted in the world of graffiti, stickers, pop culture and urban art. Painted on canvases, clothes, chairs and other supports, they are accompanied by words and symbols that convey, with intensity, the feelings, struggles and assertions of identity that have marked this journey.
