As part of Brussels Pride Week, come discover Waacking through a 1-hour introductory workshop led by Fabijoow, followed by a Disco, Funk, and House DJ set by Caoson167 and Bogotabeats, coming all the way from Rennes, France to keep you dancing non-stop.
Waacking (or Whacking) originated in Black and Latino gay clubs in 1970s Los Angeles. Inspired by film actresses such as Greta Garbo, Marlene Dietrich, and Marilyn Monroe, it is a dance rooted in glamour, extravagance, and provocation.
During this unique and unforgettable night, you’ll dive into a 70s Disco–Funk atmosphere filled with glitter, sequins, vibrant colors, and groove. Come dressed in your finest outfits and set the dancefloor on fire!
