Queer Mobilities – Closure Event 🌈

Over the past year, Charlotte van Vessem and Juliana Betancur Arenas, researchers at VUB Mobilise, have been working on a study of queer mobilities in Brussels. In partnership with Grands Carmes and Rainbow House, and with the support of the Brussels Centre for Urban Studies, their research explores how queer people move through the city: where they (don’t) go, why, and how their identities intersect with mobility choices.

After months of discussions, research, and creative work, the Queer Mobilities project is coming to a close! Join us for an evening at Grands Carmes (Brussels) on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 18:00 to 20:00.

Expect project highlights, a visual gallery, and short film screenings, followed by food, drinks, and time to connect.
