The "Massimadi-Brussels" Arts Festival is a flagship event of the Baobab identities that have been highlighting LGBTQIA+ black issues in Brussels since 2013.
The current events are encouraging the Massimadi-Brussels collective to be visible as part of the Pride Week and to propose a space for respectful and safer exchanges where resilience and empowerment strategies in the face of aggression and discrimination suffered by LGBTQIA+ black people are discussed in a context where LGBTQIA+ rights are in decline worldwide and in Europe.
